Our Chairman's Message
Mount Litera Zee Senior Secondary School (Residential), Sivagangai is a vibrant and welcoming learning community, committed to creating the best possible educational experience for every child. We aim to enable all children to reach their full potential.
We have a talented, dedicated, caring team of staff, each of whom works very hard to ensure that the abilities of the children in our care are nurtured and carefully developed. Our teachers and teaching assistants are experienced, and work as a team to make the school a very special place, every day, for your child.
Our Mission is to facilitate and nurture holistic development of the students by providing an extremely efficient learning environment, mentorship, bonding and knowledge impartation. In this context we aim to provide a broad, well balanced and relevant education system.
We believe that every child has the right to work in a calm, orderly, safe and secure environment which is why we have invested on state of the art classrooms. We always looking for new ways to involve parents in the life of the school and to keep them informed of the things we are doing.
Children at our institution are listened to and they have regular opportunities to express themselves, – for example through class discussions and the School Council. We act on children’s views to make our school a place that children value and that they want to come to.
Our school is housed in a meticulously planned building, offering world-class learning facilities for children and teachers. Classrooms are spacious, with modern furniture and state-of-the-art digital classrooms. We have a large sports hall , Wifi campus, digital library, mobile laboratories , a well-stocked library, amazing ICT Suite with 40 PCs, and a very special ‘added extra’ – a huge community room complete with its own interactive whiteboard . The grounds are extensive, and include an enclosed courtyard garden, a large playground (with surface marking and lots of play equipment), a huge field and a partially wooded area that we are currently developing as an outdoor classroom. Our site is very safe, and overall it represents the very best that money can buy in terms of a modern, well-planned and well-resourced school.

About Our Chairman
Head of School, Dr. Balakarthikeyan a veteran to education comes with more than 20 years of administrative and teaching experience in varied institutions of repute, has developed this wonderful institution by bringing together a group of likeminded individuals to serve the community
A Tamil Literature graduate, Dr. Bala Karthikeyan started his career as a teacher in Tamil and dedicated the early years of his life in serving the students. It was during these early years he developed a deep passion to enlighten the community through quality education and developing sustainable agricultural models to elevate poverty. Both of these visions would later become like two of his eyes.
With a vision to develop his own steam of institutions he moved on to the corporate sector to gain much needed management experience on institutional governance for the next couple of years. During these years he completed his bachelor’s in law and is presently perusing advanced research in Tamil as a fellow in Madurai Kamaraj University to effectuate his dream.
Dr. Bala Karthikeyan has a clear vision of academic excellence and a profound appreciation for teachers and their role in student success. He has been highly regarded throughout his career and known for his leadership and results.
